Flight Switch

The FLIGHT SWITCH is an advanced solid-state switch to control auxiliary functions for model aircraft, i.e. landing lights, running lights or anti-collision beacons. The unit has two operating modes in addition to OFF. When the channel that is driving the unit has a pulse width of less 1.2 milliseconds the unit is OFF. As the pulse width is increased past this point the unit goes into a pulsed mode. In this mode the unit is turned ON and OFF at a rate of about once a second, good for driving the anti-collision beacon. When the pulse width is greater than 1.6 milliseconds the switch is ON all the time, good to control landing lights or running lights. The red indicator on the unit is lit whenever the switch is ON.
